Jennah Heydari, native of Montreal,
Quebec currently resides in a small Eastern Ontario town with
her children and husband Nafe Heydari. After pursuing a
four-year student apprenticeship under, International Artist
'Gerald Pedros' she began to take a more career-oriented
position to her Artwork. She enjoys creating artwork
surrounding her faith as well as capturing Islamic Historical
moments in time.
Not your typical Muslim Artist, Jennah creates art through
expressive charcoal drawings that bring her emotions to the
surface. She enjoys mixed media and has been creating Art, professionally,
for more then ten years. |

Nafe Heydari, native to the United
Kingdom and Iraq, has been creating artwork since childhood.
He currently resides in a small Eastern Ontario town with his
wife Jennah Heydari and children. Taking time out of
studies and work he enjoys creating series of artwork with his
wife, depicting his faith using chalks and Conté pencils on
rag paper. Nafe has worked on such series as: Jihad -
the Inner struggle and Karbala, the everlasting stand.
True to his traditions and beliefs he creates his art from the
heart, looking for a means to express a more understanding
view of his religion. |
